I am a PhD student at ¶º±ÆÖ±²¥ with a research interest in freshwater biogeochemistry, dissolved organic matter, and nutrient cycling. My work focuses on how organic carbon and nutrients move through soil–river systems and how they are transformed, utilised, and retained within freshwater ecosystems.
I am particularly interested in using isotope-based approaches to trace these often hidden biogeochemical processes. By combining laboratory experiments, mesocosm studies, and field-based approaches, my research aims to improve understanding of nutrient transformation, microbial processing, and carbon allocation in aquatic environments.

I am a PhD student in the ERC REFRESH research team. This project is an ERC Advanced Grant supported by UKRI under the Horizon Europe Funding Guarantee. ERC REFRESH investigates the role of dissolved organic matter as a nutrient resource in freshwater ecosystems, and aims to advance current nutrient cycling theory by examining how organic matter supports freshwater biota and shapes ecosystem responses to nutrient enrichment and environmental change.
