We were delighted to welcome the community to Pontio for a truly memorable celebration of the Chinese New Year, marking the arrival of the vibrant and joyful Year of the Horse.

Throughout the day, visitors of all ages enjoyed a rich programme of cultural activities, including traditional arts and crafts workshops, calming Tai Chi sessions, elegant musical performances, an energetic dance workshop, and a spectacular gala finale. The atmosphere was warm, curious, and celebratory, reflecting a shared enthusiasm for Chinese culture and cultural exchange.

A particular highlight of the day was the gala performance by our colleagues from Goldsmiths Confucius Institute for Dance and Performance. Their exceptional artistry, energy, and professionalism brought the celebrations to a powerful and unforgettable close.
