The Confucius Institute at ¶º±ÆÖ±²¥ was thrilled to bring people together to celebrate two very special occasions — the traditional Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival and the 1500th anniversary of the city of Bangor.

Students, staff, and local residents filled the room with energy and curiosity as they took part in an evening of poetry and dance, calligraphy, and Chinese painting. The workshops offered a chance to get creative, try something new, and learn more about the stories and traditions behind one of China’s most beloved festivals.

Laughter, colour, dance and conversation flowed throughout the evening, creating a wonderful sense of community and shared celebration. It was truly heart-warming to see so many people of all ages enjoying the cultural exchange and joining in the spirit of the festival.
